Proof that miracles happen and that god exists by association :coffee:
Libertarianism: The belief that out of all the terrible things governments can do, helping people is the absolute worst.

Proof that even death can sometimes be a surprisingly difficult condition to diagnose.

Does infinity 0's on the malpractice check also count as a miracle?

It does if the check is finite.

Some poor resident or intern is going to be rethinking his last 10 years of education soon. A degree in medicine AND a French fry scoop! Chips...I mean chips...I think.

If you're looking at a rotting corpse or a 'skellington' it's easy-peasy but in the recently dead it's a bastard- ask ANY Dr- we've ALL been worried at some point diagnosing death! I may tell some tales in the newsletter- note to self! :shifty:

Oh...you are an M.D. or a D.O. You should not have admitted such, as pre-med me is going to latch onto your knowledge like a leech and drink my fill...then get fat on that knowledge and cruise through med school! Haha. :drunk:

WTF is a DO ('Doctor' of Osteopathy???)
No I'm a medical Dr- M.D. is a term in the UK exclusively for medical Drs who do a medical phd
As to my 'easing your passage' through medical school- err... good luck with that! :read:

Ahhh...sorry about that. In the states M.D. is used for both research and practicing physicians who went through medical school. I didn't know there was a differentiation in the UK. DOs are Doctors of Osteopathy which have the exact same rights here in the states as MDs. They get the same med school bit, plus an extra helping of Woo based on osteopathic manipulations. Actually, about 20 of our states now allow Naturopathic physicians (NDs) as primary care providers which is simply sickening. They gain great skills such as herbal medicine, acupuncture, hydrotherapy, and homeopathy.

As for my bit, I'm all allopathic....no woo for me! I wasn't being serious though about annoying you with frivolous pre-med questions. From what I can tell from most physicians, we aren't even considered human beings until we get accepted into medical school. Guess I'll just have to rely on my MCAT Exam Krackers books, and hatred of organic chemistry to push me forward. But when I actually matriculate, it's on. Cheers1 :td:

Edit: This is based on the US system in which one does undergraduate studies to obtain a BSc. degree, usually biology, biochemistry, or he like before receiving actual medical training which is in medical school.

Privileges would probably have been a better term. DOs and MDs are functionally equivalent in the US.

Hospital privileges, sure... Let 'em have them 'cause no one else wants 'em and precious few Docs do either.
