I have little interest in cultural history anymore. My wife was in touch with academics for some time and I met people studying Finns in America. Lutheran churches kept up the language. Workers kept up socialist ideas in Newspapers. Gus Hall, major union and socialist leader, was a Finn. Then there were temperance people. Im not sure if it was cause and effect, correlation or just slowly shaking off the bullshit. It all happened over a relatively few years. Besides never even thinking about matters I would have thought of a ‘spiritual’ in some way any more, I have developed a nose for stuff that is stated as fact or real without any foundation. Hahaa. I can do all of that. Just used a compound mitre saw yesterday to cut and bevel a couple of wooden pieces. Having ordered some mounts for two of my monitors, which have no VESA mounting holes, they'll enable me to attach them to the arms without having to use those awful adaptors. This liberal arts weenie also knows how to shoot rifles, including fully automatic ones, and service a truck.
