There's some debate about whether it is real or not. There was a theory that the guy found a dead snake and set it up to look like it was eating a sausage. But he claims it was real.

To me, it is biologically improbable...

But then, so is Trump... :tea:

Chipmunks, squirrels and sic-sic's are supposed to be herbivores. They are also supposedly land creatures.

I was fishing, when I saw one choose a path to pass me that took it through the water, rather than passing via dry land. The little fucker was carrying a tiny northern pike in it's mouth.

But then, so is Trump... :tea:
Imagine that hottie (FLOTUS) repeatedly banging that tiny-handed, mushroom-dicked Adonnis.

Improbably doesn't describe it.

I'd really prefer not to imagine that.

Yeah, they are pretty big. Very tough and hard to kill.

Poisonous too. When they feel threatened they release bufotoxin from two glands behind their eyes. A lot of dogs have died trying to kill them. There are even records of human deaths.

Before anyone trundles out the old canard of everything in Australia trying to kill you, the cane toad is a native of South and Central America. It has been imported to eat the cane beetle - which it then almost totally ignored because it found food that was more to its liking. To date no predator has been found to control the toad population, unless you count the bogans who intentionally run over the toads in their cars because they usually make a loud, satisfying pop when they get squashed.

We've got them in South Florida and they're moving north. Fucking illegals, we need a wall.

We had a rabbit proof fence. It wasn't. More like a hare-brained idea. Total waste of money. 1,139-miles (1,833 km) @ £167 per mile ($250/km) in 1907.

Made a good movie in 2002 bearing the same name, though, so not a dead loss.

I'm sure that somewhere in South America there exists a large, aggressive lizard that can eat cane toads with immunity. Obviously, we need to bring them here and release them. What could go wrong?

Cats from Victoria, more specifically, Geelong Cats, would be a better solution. Nobody would care if things went wrong and they were the ones finishing up dead.
