I read that his personal hygiene left a bit to be desired, but I didn't realize he was letting his cat shit all over the show.

Slug stew, cooked long and slow, would of course be perfectly healthy... :tea:

I always cook my snails thoroughly, with lots of butter and garlic. They're nommable.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Be sure they are the real thing rather than, say, chopped up pieces of Korean slugs.

Three Swiss men made sure not to get cheated by collecting their own. To that end they travelled to a vineyard. The idea was for each to go their own way on the search for them, then meet up again at the inn and let the chef do the necessaries. The bloke from Zürich arrived at the inn with 18 snails at four. An hour later the one from Genf turned up with 26. By six o' clock the man from Basel had yet to arrive. He tuned up another hour later, his left arm in a sling and bringing no snails at all. "What happened?" he was asked. "I got run over by one of those damn things." replied. "For crying out loud, didn't you see it coming, Seppel?" "How could I," came the plaintive reply. "It bowled me over from behind."

DRSB might have more stories concerning the Baseler's reputation for being a bit, um, slow.

Why am I not surprised that Mark Latham, leader of the Labor Party for a mercifully scant 13 and a half months, has joined Pauline Hanson's white supremacist One nation Party? I still shudder at the thought of how close the psycho came to becoming our Prime Minister in 2004. What a dilemma that choice was; John Howard or Mark Latham. No, he didn't get worse over the years. He was as crazy then as he is now. It just wasn't as obvious at the time.

Drop bears do not infect hoomins with chlamydia. They just kill and then eat them.

There are no survivors of drop bear attacks. That's why people in other countries think they are a myth.

Yeah, the thing with escargot is that you may as well just have little bits of mushroom drowned in garlic and butter. All one tastes is the butter, garlic and salt anyway.
