It's only batshit crazy because he's talking to Trump. If he was talking to a Democrat, you'd be saying he's speaking profound truth in urban vernacular.Tero wrote: ↑Fri Oct 12, 2018 11:44 amKanye talks batshit crazy stuff with Trump, making Trump look almost normal

“When I was in college, I took a terrorism class. ... The thing that was interesting in the class was every time the professor said ‘Al Qaeda’ his shoulders went up, But you know, it is that you don’t say ‘America’ with an intensity, you don’t say ‘England’ with the intensity. You don’t say ‘the army’ with the intensity,” she continued. “... But you say these names [Al Qaeda] because you want that word to carry weight. You want it to be something.” - Ilhan Omar

Well, since is not ALL about Trump, I put up a Kanye topic. How does Kanye learn news? Same as Trump, Fox?

Tero, most posters in this thread have the same 'Trump Derangement' as Bill Maher - not funny.
When a comic is funny, people laugh. When Trump is bashed, people clap and say thing like 'and also with you'
It's like a church, but less funny.

And Trump folk laugh at his one liners. It’s like a ritual:
Punchline, then
”lock her up!”
Their idea of humor.
It IS a church.

Really - listen to Bill Maher joke about other topics - often funny.
Listen to him talk about Trump - almost never funny.
It shows his bias (warranted) and is the same thing I see in most anti-trump posters (unwarranted)

I don't think what you find amusing is a reluable measure of someone's biases, warranted or otherwise.

Fair enough, but when I found Maher (a comic I enjoy) being consistently unfunny, about one subject, it was a dramatic difference.Brian Peacock wrote: ↑Fri Oct 12, 2018 6:04 pmI don't think what you find amusing is a reluable measure of someone's biases, warranted or otherwise.
Then later, I learned that Trump sued him hard enough that he lost his show/job.
It isn't much of a leap to put the two together.
You want funny Trump stuff - I like the 'orange leprechaun' slander, the Trump-baby balloon was funny too. Shouldn't there me more, considering this is supposed to be about his being 'the butt of global jokes'?
People are too pissed to be funny - that's just my opinion. You may refute it, but try going out in a group and declaring your support for Trump. It won't be funny.

Can you expand on that? It looks like Trump sued, then withdrew the lawsuit, then Maher lost his show...what is missing?
Or do you just think he is 'differently-funny' and we should be more accepting?

Trump jokes? It's getting old, so they are not funny anymore because there is nothing new.
And because
And because

It's your claim, so have you done any research to verify it or are you looking to encourage a mass debate based on challenging others to refute one of your unsupported assumptions?
