There certainly are other issues besides his drinking - but pervin here and Brian both sarcastically referred to the bar room brawl and drinking allegations. Pervin sarcastically referred to as "normal" - meaning he's really suggesting it isn't normal.

I don't know which system is best, but any time I see speech suppressed, I'm highly suspicious. Our city just passed a bylaw restricting what councilors can say, critically, about the City. I get that there are subtleties, but I would go the other way, and try to protect their ability to criticize anonymously. Protect 'truth to power' I think is the jingle...The brits lately have been clamping down on hate speech. If you think those tools won't be used to silence political opponents, you would strike me as idealistic.

Despite the repeated claims to the contrary in this thread, Mark Judge never claimed that Blasey Ford's accusation is false. He said he "does not recall" the incident.

If he claims that he doesn't recall the incident, then it follows that he can claim that he never saw it happen. It's a lawyerly circumlocution in which Judge avoids definitively stating that Blasey Ford's accusation is false.

As for the assertion that Blasey Ford is an activist, what is its basis? Beyond signing a letter protesting family separation pursuant to "zero tolerance" at the border, what qualifies her as an activist?

Mark Judge is apparently one who was involved in sex with drunken girls at their prep school. He is not going to admit to assault on Ford. He will say nothing. FBI is not going to dig up shit in a week. If they dig deep enough, it would all come out.

FBI all done before any fun stuff popped up:

“I have seen Brett Kavanaugh’s recent interview on Fox News regarding his alleged ‘choir boy’ existence during his high school years and lack of sexual activity. The claim is absolutely false and a lie based on what I observed firsthand. It is also laughable.”

She said that during the years of 1981–2, she “witnessed firsthand” Kavanaugh and others “spike” the “punch” at the house parties they attended with “Quaaludes and/or grain alcohol.”

“I understood this was being done for the purpose of making girls more likely to engage in sexual acts and less likely to say ‘No,’” she wrote. She added that she knew other witnesses who could testify to these facts.

Kavanaugh has strongly denied all the claims against him, and called Swetnick’s allegations “ridiculous” and from “the Twilight Zone.”

Avenatti has been pushing for the FBI to speak to Swetnick as part of its one-week investigation into the accusations against Kavanaugh, but earlier on Tuesday Avenatti said that they had not yet contacted her.
