What happens to your obsession when Randi dies? Will you move on with your life?

Most of it is shit I grant you. Especially considering that there really was some excellent stuff around in the 80s. One of my favourites as we are on the subject:

Tears for Fears I vaguely remember thanks. Where was I in the 80's? Oh getting divorced and unemployed. A great time to forget.

well, I don't know bands from the 80s, at the time, I was listening to 60s and 70s folk that I still greatly enjoy... I couldn't get bothered to listen to those newfangled abominations of noise... heck, I never even got what was so great with the beatles.

I think the 80s were probably the best decade of my life - upon reflection about 85 to 95.

well, I'm not sure there's been so much as a good decade in my life... and even the best 3 years were marred by deep depression and a lot of quarrels.

It's odd what makes us happy and not so much. The last few years of that decade the ex-missus Rum and I were drifting apart and ended up living separately around 97. My job was undemanding and pretty well paid - really quite unsatisfying - and I could more or less do with it what I wanted - which wasn't a lot given how demotivated I was to do much about it - great people though. But I lived in the Cotswolds - one of my favourite places in the world and I was spending time in London with a couple of women I knocked around with after the separation.

When I moved to my present neck of the woods for career reasons things took off with work and I had three promotions quite rapidly but I never got on with people at work as I did down south - different culture. And though it is stunning up here with Scotland so close and the Lake District just down the road I have never been as content as I was in Oxfordshire. Perhaps age has something to do with it - I don't age well.

well, I'm not sure I age well either... my memory is not what it used to be, my ability to concentrate on things I try to work on is next to nil, I can barely read books anymore... and my success with the fairer sex is in keeping with what it's been for the last 15 years... hardly good for morale.

Next we will cover the main reasons for divine retaliation. There are many other causes, but we will stick to the worst offenses.

there are no reasons for divine retaliation, the godhead, if anything, ought to proceed to do divine reparations.
