Can we get this thread back on track please. The match was always favourite to be a draw, given the weather situation. But it still leaves England 1-0 up in the series. Poised, as they say.

Just to confirm, if it's a series draw, the burnt bails go back to Oz?

The idea of even reaching 100 is now beginning to look a little unlikely.

Darth Ponting and his Antipodean Stormtroopers going to even the series here and leave it all to play for at the Oval. When I will be on holiday!

My timing is just so damned impeccable!

Excellent! (said like Mr Burns from the Simpsons...)

A first innings lead of 223, and the Poms at 5 for 82... :woot:

The Ashes to be decided in the 5th Test, well scripted somebody...
Nurse, where the fuck's my cardigan?
And my gin!

All involved in this ignominous and cowardly performance should be flogged and sentenced to transportation.

Wonder if we can clone Douglas Jardine.....

Fairly evenly poised at stumps, England 8 for 303, Siddle doing some useful bowling...
