I don't think that file sharing is ethical, but also the media companies and software companies do not much more than steal from their customers. There is much pseudo-competition. Most artists, programmers do not get a very fair share.

Some companies use the cheapest media to copy on, as I have had to return several DVD's [and more than once!]. In the end, I downloaded a pirated copy of a TV series. . No problems from the pirate copy. Plus, I did not have to sit and watch the copyright bullshit and the adds every time.

So in some jurisdictions, according to the law, I have pirated some movies, despite paying full price for the originals. Fuck them! :lay: They can put me in jail for it if they want, but as far as I am concerned, no-one has missed out on any income from my "pirating". Artists were still paid their royalties , and the makers and retailers all got their cut.

That is an interesting one. I have bought all the GTA 3 releases, but I always played them with a no-cd crack and the cd's on the harddrive. officially that is against the rules and therefore illegal though they hurt no-one and made the playability much better.

Welcome back Leo.

I download games that can't be locally purchased here - officially illegal.
I've also downloaded games that haven't even been on shelves for years because they've been discontinued - officially illegal.

What the hell is this bullshit?
