Nah, he's not a racist, in the political, committed sense. He just uses that kind of sloppy rhetoric which assumes this or that group have these or those traits or characteristics - like saying that Blacks are lazy, Haitians have aids, Mexicans are rapists, and Nigerians live in huts. And when the Birther Prime does casually poop these preposterous things out who of those around him are going to call him out on it?

rn shortly and explain to you, point by point (there are 278 of them, so be prepared for a longish post) why none, yes none, not a single statement by Trump is racist. I'll summarise on his behalf:

One: He keeps getting quoted out of context.
Two: His statements are misinterpreted.
Three: When Trump refers to, say, Mexicans, he does not refer to them as a race but as a society.

Checkmate, lefty.
I can't go through every one, but I hit the high points. His opposition has wanted to paint him as a "racist" ever since he announced. It's the best way to try to bring him down, so some people think. Only thing is, I grew up outside of New York City, when you grew up there starting in the 70s, Trump was ubiguitous. He was a very well-respected businessman, every step of the way, and he was never accused of being a racist.

He won the Ellis Island Medal of Honor, honoring him for diversity, patriotism, tolerance and brotherhood. https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/trump ... d-in-1986/ He won the Muhammed Ali Entrepreneur award. He won the Tree of Life Award for contribution to US-Israeli relations, that antisemite.

He was honored and thanked by the Rev. Jesse Jackson for helping increase diversity on Wall Street. http://truthfeed.com/flashback-video-th ... ity/20329/

Jesse Jackson honoring Trump for Lifetime Achievement in Helping the Poor and African Americans:

For most around the world, their first exposure to Trump was the Republican primaries or even the general election. For me, Trump was a prominent wellknown person to me since I was in single-digits. And, growing up he was in the news all the time, and it was either favorable news, business news, or news about his next wife or girlfriend. Race did not enter into it.

Let him run for President, and suddenly he's the worst racist that ever lived.

That's what some hear, but that's not what he actually said. When we know what someone we have prejudged "really means" by what they say, it's easy to recast a statement about illegal immigrants to a statement about Mexicans in general.

And being a birther as to Obama is racist, but being a birther as to McCain or Cruz wasn't.

Idiot?

Look, the issue here is whether one can be a good person and support a racist. Byrd clearly was a racist, right up until Hillary was First Lady, and the guy had been in the Senate for 35 years at that point. Hillary knew who that guy was, as everyone else did. And, it's wonderful that you accept his conversion, but you and Animavore don't even accept Trump's denial of being a racist now -- he never did what Byrd is accused of doing, has never had a problem hiring or working with African Americans (in management positions), the only evidence people present about him being a racist is his his opposition to illegal immigration and his statements that bad people are coming in from Mexico illegally, which they are.

Yet, I and others who favor Trump over Hillary can't possibly be good people because we don't ignore his denial of being a racist. But, Hillary can be a good person because she accepts Byrd's denial of being a racist, anymore.
For about the fourth time, who has said that Hillary is a good person??

He should just go full Seth and declare those articles as Marxist propaganda. You can use it to rebut absolutely anything, and it only takes a sentence of two, as opposed to the walls of text 42 has to pump out in his torturous attempts to redefine reality.

It's hard to know how much of Trumps racisty statements are down to racism or just the fact that he's pretty thick and not very good at articulating anything. I suspect there must be an underlying streak of racism there, as there's just too many cases of badly worded outbursts to ignore.

That's the thing. It's 45 years of this crap, and Forty Two's hand waving notwithstanding, those DOJ investigations showed real discrimination against minorities. Racist is as racist does.

Trump is a racist both explicitly and implicitly. He's in a party of racists. There's a literal Nazi running for the Repubs in one state (Arizona I think) and while Trump hasn't endorsed him he hasn't done the opposite. He appoints racists like Sessions. Is friends with Bannon and supports his racist publication.

White golf course owners said five African American women were playing too slowly. Then they called the police.

A golf club's white owners called police on five African American women for playing 'too slow'

Grandview Golf Club in York, Pa., apologized for calling police after the course's owners said a group of African American women were playing "too slow."(Sandra Thompson/YouTube)

Five African American women say they were discriminated against at a Pennsylvania golf club when they were told they were taking too long on the course — and then the police were called.

On Saturday morning, the women — who, according to local media, were experienced golfers and part of a group called Sisters in the Fairway — teed off at Grandview Golf Course in York County. The women told the York Daily Record that they were told by the club’s owners they were not keeping a quick-enough pace. The club offered to refund their memberships and then called 911.

The confrontation follows a spate of similar confrontations among businesses, their customers or members, and the police. From the arrests of two African American menat a Philadelphia Starbucks to a 911 call made on two African American men working out at a New Jersey gym, the incidents have reignited racial tensions in commercial spaces and cast scrutiny on how law enforcement and companies respond.

It seems like black people and women now have a free pass.

A bunch of white men playing too slow would have no come back. If you're black or a woman, you can shout discrimination.

It's shocking discrimination against white men.

Slow play is fucking rude, and people of any colour deserve to be kicked off the course for it.

When you are on a busy golf course, you are in a queue of up to 72 people depending on where you are. And if you play slow, you are holding up all of the people behind you.

I used to play with an Irish guy called Paddy, who had high blood pressure and heart problems. He would go absolutely mental, if the group in front were playing slow. (he has a hell of a temper).
I remember once, we were being held up constantly by the group in front, when the group behind started shouting at US for holding them up. He went so red with anger, I really thought he was going to die right there in front of us.

There have been really nasty fights on the course, over slow play, so I'm not surprised the police were called. It wouldn't be the first time, or the last.

Bullshit. Just play through.

That's his issue. Some meditation or weed will sort that out.

Yes. People who lose their tempers and cause fights on the golf course should have the police called on them and be thrown off. But NOT people who have paid to play a game and do so at their own pace.
