Let's hear it for all the Scots here (however diluted they are).

As for shame Pen, how do you feel when you admit you're from Yorkshire? :hehe: :leave:

I'll probably be a similar percentage scotch later. Does that count? :drunk:

Scots are only good for two things:

1) Making whisky.(Did I spell it right?)

2) Starting countries. (But not at home, hell no.)

And now for some Scot jokes:

Q: Why are scotsmen so hairy?

A: Centuries of breeding with sheep.

Q: Why are there no gay male or straight female Scottish furries?

A: They'd have to settle for drawings of things with less fur. :hilarious:

Actually, we can also play pointless horrible musical instruments that nobody likes. And wear women's clothing and call it "traditional". You'd be lost without the Scots.

Och, I don't mind the auld bagpipes ...

One day, driving through the Flinders Ranges in South Australia, I saw a guy in full Scots regalia, standing under an isolated railway bridge, playing bagpipes to the surrounding cliffs and gums - he was alone and it was one of those unforgettable, 'fucking awesome' moments.

His poor neighbours had probably forced him to go to another continent to practice his godawful caterwauling....
