I've got most of his stuff but after this might get rid of it and listen to modern stuff instead.Brian Peacock wrote:What an arse.

He's always been pathologically defensive about what his music means, but this doesn't make me think less of the music of his I like, I just think less of him.

With the exception of Subterranean Homesick Blues, Lay, Lady Lay and one, maybe two other songs, I never liked his work. I never liked the way he presented it either, and based on what I read about him, I never liked him as a person. So, yeah, no, I'm not surprised by any shit he gets up to.
As far as I'm concerned the decision to award him a Nobel prize ranks right down there with Kissinger and Obama.

Bootlegs are better than his later albums. Given the ineptitude on display with the Nobles here his management team for his music must be phenomenal? that's why I suspect deliberate sabotage for a prize unwanted. He never took the prize money - he had this planned from early on.Hermit wrote:With the exception of Subterranean Homesick Blues, Lay, Lady Lay and one, maybe two other songs, I never liked his work. Well, now it's out. Back in the early 2000s Dylan was out of covenient cash, so he wrote the Sparks notes books on Moby Dick and The Old Testament.
So embarrassing. Terrific singer, nobody can copy his frog croaking style.
