Draining an actual swamp, even one full of protected species, is something those environmental vandals would do.

Trump's cabinet is worth billions. Like way more billions than anyone else. Even Reagan. Like it's not even close.

Trump cultists show their delusion and cognitive dissonance yet again. :hilarious:
I don't "believe" anything. I just don't require any president to keep his promises in 4 months. You blokes gave Obama 8 years, can't you give Trump some breathing space?

Do ya'll know how hysterical you look? It's like something I've never seen before. People have lost their minds.
You can't drain the swamp by actively adding to it. :fp: It doesn't matter how long you wait. He took decisions that are the antithesis of what he claimed he would do. That can't be undone. He's done it. He's added to the swamp.
Where's the hysteria in my post? I'm just laughing here. This reminds me of when religious people try to make it sound like the non-religious ones who are crazy.

The only one being hysterical in the exchange is 42.

Oh for fuck sake.
ast month, President Trump visited Saudi Arabia and his administration announced that he had concluded a $110 billion arms deal with the kingdom. Only problem is that there is no deal. It’s fake news.

I’ve spoken to contacts in the defense business and on the Hill, and all of them say the same thing: There is no $110 billion deal. Instead, there are a bunch of letters of interest or intent, but not contracts. Many are offers that the defense industry thinks the Saudis will be interested in someday. So far nothing has been notified to the Senate for review. The Defense Security Cooperation Agency, the arms sales wing of the Pentagon, calls them “intended sales.” None of the deals identified so far are new, all began in the Obama administration.

Trump was given breathing space anyway. I gave him a chance but; he blew it before he was inaugurated by nominating Scott Pruitt to the EPA. He blew it when he elected DeVos for education. He blew it when he gave Rex Tillerson Sec of State. He blew it when he botched up his own travel ban with his won words. Which he did again to further cement his incompetence. He blew it when he gave the religious a right to discriminate. He blew it when he backed out of the Paris Accord (I'm leaving stuff out here). He blows it every day. How much breathing space do people want me to give him? If he was an employee of a burger joint making this many fuck ups and further bringing disreputation to the establishment he would be out on his ass.

It's messed up that Trump cultists believe we should keep giving someone this incompetent more chances to fumble and cause damage. As if they think he's going to blunder his way into doing good like Inspector Clouseau. This is the very definition of delusion and pure, irrational hope.

Yeah, it's rare when there's a day where he hasn't embarrassed the US.

Big Show has become a tiresome joke:
Poll: Voters want Trump to get off Twitter
By STEVEN SHEPARD 06/07/2017 06:16 AM EDT
Voters have a clear message for President Donald Trump: Stop tweeting.

A new POLITICO/Morning Consult poll shows the vast majority of voters, 69 percent, say Trump uses Twitter too much. Fifty-nine percent say the president’s use of Twitter is a bad thing, and even a majority of voters say Trump’s tweets hurt U.S. national security.

Give him a chance. It's understandable that a new prez will embarrass himself daily on Twitter in the first four months. Imagine how much Hillary would have embarrassed herself on Twitter if she was president!

We are not giving Trump a chance. His voters yes, bring them back to the main stream.

Where is the mainstream? Trump is such an outlier in so many regards that even a God-bothering Pense-led administration would appear the epitome of calm, ordered, reasonableness.
