Are all the billionaires donating and driving a political agenda and policy in their favor and leaving ordinary working people out in the cold? Even the Democrat donors? Even Soros and the gang?Brian Peacock wrote:Yes, Riech's making a particular point about the undemocratic influence of a handful of billionaires - with the Koch brothers representing the epitome of such an influence. There's no reason why people shouldn't donate to political organisations, but the Koch brothers and their ilk are doing far more than just donating to the Republican party aren't they - they're driving the political agenda and policy in their favour and leaving ordinary working people out in the cold. People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.

The woman who leaked the document has been arrested.Top-Secret NSA Report Details Russian Hacking Effort Days Before 2016 Election
Russian military intelligence executed a cyberattack on at least one U.S. voting software supplier and sent spear-phishing emails to more than 100 local election officials just days before last November’s presidential election, according to a highly classified intelligence report obtained by The Intercept.
The report indicates that Russian hacking may have penetrated further into U.S. voting systems than was previously understood. It states unequivocally in its summary statement that it was Russian military intelligence, specifically the Russian General Staff Main Intelligence Directorate, or GRU, that conducted the cyber attacks described in the document:

Pulsar wrote:'This is huge': National security experts were floored by the leaked NSA document on Russia's election hack
Trump's response to the NSA's document will be critical, Finkelstein said. "If he does not decry this interference or attempted interference with the machinery of democratic processes in the US, that in and of itself will be highly suspect."
During the transition period and numerous times after assuming office, Trump lambasted the intelligence community for what he said was a politically motivated conclusion that Russia meddled in the election to hurt Clinton and help him.
The timing of the document's publication has raised further questions, since it came to light three days before former FBI Director James Comey was set to testify before the Senate about conversations he had with Trump as part of a broader inquiry into the Trump campaign's ties to Russia.
Comey was fired May 9 — four days after the NSA document, which Trump as president would have been briefed on, was compiled by the intelligence agency.

Is The Don suffering from King Lear syndrome or something? He doesn't seem to trust anyone, not even his own State Department as they went to court to try and persuade judges that his anti-Muslim executive order was not the 'TRAVEL BAN!' he has again repeated that it is. He's already demonstrated that he thinks international cooperation and treaties are always fixed against the US, that the social safety net is a scam, that only billionaires can be trusted, that dictators are to be admired and looked up to because they are controlling and feared, that democratically elected presidents and prime ministers need to be dominated with small-dick-death-grip-handshakes or shoved out of the way, that political opponents and the media have to be humiliated, staffers and aides like Spicer degraded, and independent judges debased, and that lies can replace facts if you tweet them inside inverted commas. Reports have family members, political aides and civil servants at odds with each other for his attention, and in the meantime he changes his plans and drops parts of speeches, or inserts comments, without notice or even informing his staff. I know politics is a mad and crazy game, but this just doesn't seem normal even for politics. If he were in any other job he would have had his cards by now.

I don't "believe" anything. I just don't require any president to keep his promises in 4 months. You blokes gave Obama 8 years, can't you give Trump some breathing space?Animavore wrote:OMG! He actually believes Trump is gonna drain the swamp!
