I wonder how Trump's pal Putin will deal with that. And Trump's meeting the Chinese leader in the morning. That could be awkward.
If Putin was really Trump's pal, would Trump have lobbed the Tomahawks? Syria is a client state of Russia. :thinks:

There are people on my Facebook feed, who would've been supporters of Trump over "Killary", who would've believed that the US created ISIS, who support Putin and Assad's fight against these US-created terrorists, and believed Trump was going to put an end to ISIS, are now saying Trump has proven himself to be a member of the establishment with last night's attacks. That he really is a puppet for the masters after all, which is why he was 'allowed' to be voted in.

I can't look at Facebook any more without thinking it's a Picasso's Guernica of opinions.

I'm also reading reports ISIS have already begun to take advantage of this, but nothing concrete yet.

Yeah, some reports that the site of the recent gas attack has been re-bombed. Anyway...

In a statement about the chemical attack on Tuesday Trump said: "Today's chemical attack in Syria against innocent people, including women and children, is reprehensible and cannot be ignored by the civilized world. These heinous actions by the Bashar Assad regime are a consequence of the past administration's weakness and irresolution. President Obama said in 2012 that he would establish a 'red line' against the use of chemical weapons and then did nothing."

Aside from unnecessarily waving the corpses of dead children in our faces to make a cheap political point there is some truth to the charge. Obama declared a 'red line' on chemical weapons use after a previous attack, and in that he cited the UN declaration against their use that has been signed by every member, including Syria. Obama sought international agreement on a response, and yet none was forthcoming for a variety of reasons. This was a failure, but it was the world's failure just not the US's or Obama's. But let's not forget what TV Celebrity Mr D J Trump was saying about it at the time though...

President Vladimir Putin held a meeting of the security council to discuss the Russian response to the US airstrike. “The participants expressed deep concern at the inevitable negative consequences of these aggressive actions for the joint efforts to fight terrorism,” said spokesman Dmitry Peskov. He said the security council also expressed regret at the harm the strike would do to US-Russian relations, and they discussed ways to continue the Russian air force operation in Syria to give support to Assad’s army.

Does, "do not attack Syria" three years ago mean "never attack Syria, even if the dictatorship engages in chemical weapons attacks on civilians, including children?"

Obama was the CONmander in chief ("Change you can believe in!"). Trump was also selected to bamboozle the flock. The more convincing the performance, the more likely the candidate is there for a charade. Luckily we didn't get Hillary, the war criminal who had promised to launch wars within days. Thank God for small mercies?

Anyway, the poison gas was supplied by/through Turkey... that's why errDOGan declared quickly that it was Sarin (should have added; "we know because we supplied it"). The day before, the ISIS senior staff had been supplied with gas masks. The kids being displayed for the photo-ops were mainly shown by the "White-Helmets" that are actually Al Qaeda dressed up as medics. They posed with the young children in earlier propaganda photos, such as the 5 year old boy in a brand new ambulance with no dirt or blood in it. They've also been caught beheading children in their day-job.

Immediately after the Tomohawk missile strike, ISIS launched a big offensive on the Syrian army... at 4 AM! The missile strike would have taken days to organize, so was likely in preparation when the nerve gas was delivered to the Allies. But this video is short & informative... 59 cruise missiles were fired at the air base. Only 23 made it, and did minimal damage. The Syrian army is scouring the countryside looking for the 'missing' 36. So much for Yankee military prowess! That's the good news: It might dissuade the Rambos from trying any more stupid adventures.

Both the last time & this time, the 'dictatorship' did NOT do the chemical attack... it was the western backed terrorists :coffee:

I'm surprised these people care about him bombing poor people over the other side of the world. I'm more interested to hear the pathetic level of apologetics 42 will descend to to defend him breaking yet another election promise.

I haven't read about the reasons for why Bannon was booted off the NSC, but I wonder if this had anything to do with it? Alt-right poster boy Banner might have been vehemently against blowing up Syria, and had to be removed from the table...

I'd say it's just because he's an alcoholic, amphetamine junkie who comes to work every day looking like he just got checked out of a morgue. I wouldn't read too far into it yet.
