Not at all GJ. I can watch Arnold or Sly slashing their way through any amount of action film gore, but a real-life documentary about a hospital or anything medical, and I go down like a bag of spanners.

Gender "reassignment" surgery is now offensive and hurtful.
It's now "gender CONFIRMATION surgery" because you're not "reassigning" gender. The person's gender is the person's gender regardless of their bits and pieces. The surgery is only being made to confirm the person's gender, because their body has it wrong. The real gender is what a person feels like, not what their bits are. When you call it "reassignment" you're attacking the basic humanity of a trans person, and refusing to acknowledge that a trans person in a male body is really female or other non-male. It's a denial of that person's identity, and constitutes real harm to the person. It is tantamount to hate speech and violence.
