God, I can't believe he just tried to use that example to support his position.
This is why I only skim read what he writes. I missed that one the first time through.

Tom and Jim are both Catholics. However, Tom is very devout and Jim is CINO (Catholic In Name Only). Tom is the lesser of two Catholics.

By the way, last night's game was a good one. Cubs managed to stay in the Series and it is now Indians 3 wins to Cubs 2 wins.
Social Justice Warriors are lining up in the Cubs camp due to the rank cultural appropriation of the Cleveland "Indians."
Although some SJWs have pointed out that it is very problematic for a team to name itself after a defenseless animal species, particularly the infants of said species.
Still others pointed out that bats are made of wood, and gloves are made of leather, which are both very problematic given that trees and cows are murdered to manufacture the equipment for a mere game..... one SJW was grumbling about how "pine tar" is really tree blood, and the entire MLB organization ought to be put on trial.

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.

A top Democrat in Washington says the FBI has shone a spotlight on a new trove of emails potentially associated with Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server while sitting on “explosive information” allegedly tying Donald Trump to the Russian government.
Senator Harry Reid, the Democrat leader of the US Senate, accused the FBI of double standards in a letter sent late on Sunday to James Comey, the agency’s director, who jolted the presidential race on Friday by revealing the existence of a new cache of emails.
Mr Reid’s intervention, which may sow yet more intrigue in an already tumultuous last stretch towards election day on 8 November, came as investigators revealed that they had received a warrant to begin the work of searching through emails found on devices co-owned by Huma Abedin, a top Clinton aide, and her estranged husband, former Congressman Anthony Weiner.
Sources told the Associated Press that hundreds of thousands of emails had been found as part of a quite separate investigation into alleged social media communications of a sexual nature between Mr Weiner and an under-age girl. The new warrant only allows investigators to look through emails that have some link to Ms Abedin and therefore her boss, Ms Clinton....

Trump is a private citizen and can do business with who ever he wants (that will change when he gets elected of course.) Russia is not the Wests enemy (see Obama's election debates with Romney.) The Independent is SJW central.Brian Peacock wrote:independent.co.uk wrote:FBI sitting on 'explosive' information regarding Donald Trump and Russia, top Democrat insists

The same news is reported across all media outlets: just search 'Trump Russia News' or something. You really do seem to think that a story can be ignored if its in an outlet you don't approve of. So, what's your news organ of choice?

Re: The Donald-thread
Area man not able to grope spouse in a consensual manner anymore
Both my wife and I have been horrified by the political rise of Donald Trump, and both of us are volunteering for Hillary Clinton. As a result, the presidential campaign drew us closer — that is, until the Trump “Access Hollywood” video was released. My wife was so revolted by Trump’s boasts about groping women that she’s recoiled from having sex with me since early October. Every time I express interest she brings up the tape and how sickening men can be.
Thus far I’ve given her space and haven’t pressed it. But I’m worried about how long this might go on. I feel like I’ve spent years earning my wife’s trust, and Donald Trump has torn us apart in a matter of days.

Groper in chief Trump would make a bad president:
-takes away healthcare from millions
-reports to Moscow
A group of 62 retired senior military officers is raising concerns about potential links between Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. They are calling on the Republican candidate to release his tax returns to determine if there are financial ties to Moscow.

Fbi announced a few days ago that the Russian links were false after they investigated.
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.
