Actually, a pertinent observation totally undermined your opinion. If you consider the head of the FBI's actions to be legitimate here, does that legitimacy depend on his politics, your politics, or the actions themselves?

Because they were emails from and to his wife (which she said she had turned over to the FBI, and which it looks like she hadn't), and they appear to contain copies of emails to and from Clinton herself which appear to be emails which were deleted on Hillary's other devices and server and never turned over to the FBI. If that is true, if there are work related emails (copies) of emails from before her server was wiped and bleached, and before the hammers were taken to her cell phones, etc., then that could be an extremely serious matter.

I am not saying it "is" an extremely serious matter. But, if this were Trump or a Bush that engaged in the deleting, bleach-bitting, and hammering (physical destruction of devices) while under subpoena from the FBI, and they asked us to trust them that they made the unsupervised decision as to what emails were work related and needed to be turned over.... well...I think everyone knows what sort of trust would be placed in those folks. Right? I'm just applying the same standard that should be set for anyone in these circumstances.

And, it's not like Clinton has a track record for veracity. Almost everyone who deals with her has said she's not trustworthy, and she has enough objective falsehoods to justify not taking her explanations at face value.

Feel free to adopt the opposite view of it -- which you appear to be doing - that she is trustworthy, and that this has all been shown to be a big nothing, which is just part of a Republican right-wing conspiracy to falsely derail her campaign, and it goes to the highest level of the FBI, who opted not to prosecute her or even impanel a grand jury when he had the obvious chance. Now, Comey is subverting democracy, says the Clinton camp, and he's no longer appropriately doing his job.

I said they were emails from and to Huma, not exclusively from HIM to his wife or her to him. The suggestion from the FBI is that they contain copies of pre-bleach-bit emails involving Clinton. We don't know what they are, but there are a lot of emails there.

Huma also swore under oath that she had turned over all devices containing emails, so that threatens her grant of immunity.

Gotta love that she has immunity too....lol. Nothing to see here.

Weiner is married to — and currently separated from — longtime Clinton aide Huma Abedin, who had access to the same device or devices. The FBI obtained a warrant to begin a review of the emails, an official familiar with the matter said Sunday. The Wall Street Journalreported Sunday that there may be as many as 650,000 emails on the laptop, but it is unclear how many may be relevant to the Clinton email server investigation.
