I must admit there's a part of me that would like to see him win, just for the lulz. Imagine the sputtering outrage! So many people I know are Leaving The Country if he's elected. Of course, none of them have ever actually lived in another country, or have any fucking idea how difficult the immigration process is EVERYWHERE in the world. I would truly enjoy watching their disbelief and MORAL OUTRAGE when they realize that no, the fact that you're a Bernie supporter does not mean that Canada or the UK or Germany or Australia is going to welcome you with open arms. There's that saying - we get the political leaders we deserve. There's a part of me that thinks that Merka really deserves Trump. Problem is that it will affect all of us as well.

it's not unethical at all - donating to the Secretary of State's charitable foundation and then given preferential treatment by the State Department is fine.

I've my application in for "Friend of Bill" status, but I'm shuddering at what I'll be required to do for Bill to get my "F.O.B." card.

If a secretary of state (busy person) decides to see people who do not need to see her for state department purposes, what is to stop her from seeing only people that promote her political causes? She handled all the state department business without fail. If there was time for "donors", why not? It was not money to her checking account. The foundation passes with flying colors. many are much worse and do get regulated and even fined etc
