Remember, the president is only head of state - all the serious stuff is done through the House of Representatives and Congress and their committees and quangos. The presidential election is not the only election in town.

Hillary's post-convention bump may be disappearing. http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_ ... ouse_watch

She spent $75 million last month on advertisements to Trumps $7.7 million.

Trump may well be biding time and saving money, hoping to stick a fork in her in the debates and in the lead-up to the election. If this is the best 10x the spending can buy Hillary, then she may have some issues after all.

I respect 538.com and the Princeton Election Consortium, but the wild card is that they also predicted Trump to have like a 5% chance of winning the nomination, and he crushed it. So.... while I believe Hillary will be anointed by the establishment politicians and the media, I have a nagging feeling that Trump may be able to pull it off....

The thing that was interesting in the class was every time the professor said ‘Al Qaeda’ his shoulders went up, But you know, it is that you don’t say ‘America’ with an intensity, you don’t say ‘England’ with the intensity. You don’t say ‘the army’ with the intensity,” she continued. “... But you say these names [Al Qaeda] because you want that word to carry weight. You want it to be something.” - Ilhan Omar

And no other elected US president has ever out-spent their rivals I guess?

I can't see Trump winning the debates. He will hold on to his voters by saying crazy white man things. If he doesn't, he may lose some if them, in that they won't vote at all.

The debates are mainly for cooked Hillary to stand up to Trump and prove she has the balls to be president. She does not need to go all Ann Coulter, just a little bit.

Thatcher was full of testosterone. She had more than her whole bloody cabinet. :what:

Which is why I mentioned Thatcher. In case you still don't get it: Employing only women is no guarantee that past mistakes and egregious actions caused by men won't keep happening. Wanna know how many women members of the American Congress voted against the invasion of Iraq?

There are always exceptions but generally normally women are more balanced than men in decision making. Not saying it is 100% fullproof just marginally an improvement which is better than nothing.
