I'd hardly call it vague. It's quite long, detailed, and specific.

He could be. But, being a dumb cunt is par for the course in American politics. Dumb cuntery would put him right in line with the rest of the Democrat and Republican field. I will grant Bernie Sanders as not "dumb" per se, but he is a flaming cunt.

With regard to almost ever other major political figure in the US, however, Trump could not possibly be much dumber than they, and certainly not any more cuntish.

The fact that he threatens their gravy trains, the lobbying and consultant class, is a huge point in Trump's favor.
So he could be a dumb cunt, but you'll support him anyway? You lot deserve what you get with reasoning like that.
When all you have to choose from are cunts who are roughly as dumb, or a flaming self-described socialist, then what else can be done (besides not voting at all, I guess)?

All kidding aside, I don't think any of them are dumb. They are all roughly the same in terms of intelligence. Trump is highly educated, and clearly has some native intelligence to draw on. Hillary is not dumb either - she is well-educated and not stupid.

Bernie's record provides the least evidence of smarts -- he went to "Brooklyn College" before transferring to the University of Chicago for a political science degree. Poli-sci is not a difficult or demanding program at university. U of C is a good school, but poli-sci is generally on the list of "worthless degrees." I think Hillary has a poli-sci undergrad degree, but she went on to law school. You certainly don't have to be super smart to get a law degree, but she went to an Ivy League school, so we can give her the nod on that one. Trump went to University of Pennsylvania, which has generally been ranked about 4th in the US, behind Harvard, Yale, and Princeton. It's a world class university, and Trump got a degree in Economics from the even more difficult to get into college within U of Penn, the Wharton School of Business.

It is something Democrat supporters love to do -- for probably the last 25 years, since George HW Bush was President -- to call Republican candidates "stupid." But, Trump is not stupid, that's obvious from his resume and his accomplishments.

When I referred to Trump as being no-dumber than his competition, I was trying to point out that he is just as smart as they are. I don't really think they're dumb. I think it's lazy and muddled thinking to try to claim that Trump is "dumb." He isn't. And, I am quite sure that the Clinton camp takes him seriously, and does not dismiss him as dumb or a buffoon... Trump's take-down of the Republican field this past year was masterful. He destroyed his competition - not just beat them. And, he has already gotten more votes in this primary than any Republican candidate has ever gotten. It's not even over, and Trump has about 11.2 million votes, beating out all previous Republican candidates - and that's starting with a field of about 17 candidates all sucking votes away. What would the total have been if they started with three or four candidates on the stage, instead of 17?

Trump has actually done quite well. He has given speeches for hours extemporaneously - no teleprompters. He has sat for more interviews than anyone, and subjected himself to interrogation without any conditions more than any other candidate.

If you have evidence of their IQ's beyond, say, their educations - which Trump went to U of Penn and Wharton School of Business -- can't have a low IQ and do well there -- then bring it on. Hillary does well in canned, rehearsed speeches and soundbites. I don't put much stock in the analysis of candidates' speeches and grading of their vocabularies, but even if you take those studies at face value, The candidate are generally at the 6th or 7th grade level, and if Trump is at the 5th or 6th grade level, it's really not something the other candidates have standing to brag about. Considering the level at which the average voter is communicating, it probably makes sense for them all to be talking in small words.

He has a long road to hoe to beat Hillary. The problem is with the electoral college distribution, and the states that are solidly blue vs. those solidly red.

That being said, Trump's chances are way better than Cruz or Rubio would have had. The reason being is that Cruz or Rubio appealed only to Republicans, and did not inspire any real excitement. We would have seen all the blue states go blue, and all the red states go red, and it would come down again to Ohio, Virginia and Forida. Trump, however, really can move the ball a bit into blue areas. New Jersey loves him. He might even convince a New England state to go his way. Ohio is very blue collar, as is Michigan. And, Florida loves Trump too.

The national polls are meaningless, really. What we need are state by state polls. If we see Trump threatening blue strongholds, even in a small way, that will change the dynamic of the race.

Such a load of shit.

First of all, all politicians use cinco de mayo to try to get latino votes. People were pissed at Hllary for pandering to latinos - http://theweek.com/speedreads/623029/la ... co-de-mayo and http://www.breitbart.com/2016-president ... ayo-rally/

Oh, Trump is soooo offensive, for eating a taco bowl, but Hillary trotted out mariachis - she had over 1,000 protesters show up to tell her to drop out of the race and call her a liar, but all we saw on CNN and MSNBC and Fox News was Trump and his taco bowl.

He said "I love Hispanics" while using cinco de mayo to woo them? Is that unique to Trump? Politicians don't woo hispanics on cinco de mayo?

The accusation that a "taco bowl" is not authentic Mexican is bizarre, since they sell a taco shell in a bowl like form filled with Mexican spiced ground beef, or sliced chicken/beef, veggies and beans in Mexico, at non-tourist restaurants. A taco bowl in Mexico is a kind of puffy deep-fried tortilla formed into a bowl shape and filled with stuff. I've had them with Mexican taco ingredients, and also with shrimp and other shellfish ceviche.

The "thing is huge?" So what? First of all, it looks about the size of soup bowl, and perhaps they give good sized portions at Trump Tower. So??? How is that offensive?

Where is the guacamole? Some people don't like guacamole. What's "offensive" about that?

Why is he giving a thumbs up? It's what people running for office do -- every politician in living memory has thumbs-upped in many contexts. How is that "offensive?"

It's "offensive" that the taco bowl is in a bowl? What the fuck? In the US, we serve food on tablewear, and not right on the table.

Why is it on a plate? Because someone brought the fucking food up to his office and it's on his desk. We use tablewear.

Also, what's wrong with him having bobbleheads -- every successful business person I've known has had an array of items on display in their office. They get lots of gifts and things - they display them. FFS.

Then hang up photos and get a file cabinet for blueprints? Oh FFS -- he is working in an office. He's not some leftist progressive with all the time in the world to make sure everything is always filed away and decorated.

The beef looks disgusting? Why because it is beef? Because it's ground? Because it's next to Trump?

And, they round it out with the cultural appropriation allegation, after claiming that the taco bowl is neither latino nor mexican -- he's not allowed to eat it in a photo, because it's cultural appropriation.

LOL

Latest Ramussen poll, Trump +5, 42% to 37% over clinton.
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

The list of celebrities for Trump is growing, too --

Kirstie Alley -- love Kirstie Alley -- especially in her Saavik role on Wrath of Khan.

Pete "Charlie Hustle" Rose -- great baseball player, and Trump supporter.

Paul O'Neill of the Yanks -- another great baseball player.

Jon Voigt - if his balls can produce Angelina Jolie, his opinion matters...

Dennis Rodman - ambassador to North Korea, and Trump supporter

Of course, the Motor City Madman - Ted Nugent!

Mike Tyson, and if Trump needs a bodyguard, Tyson might be a good choice

Loretta Lynn, standing by her man Trump

Lou Ferrigno - the Incredible Hulk -- don't make him angry!
