Greater Manchester Police criticised for 'Muslim terrorist' in mock blast

Police who used a "Muslim terrorist" during a mock attack have been forced to apologise for racial stereotyping.
The exercise, featuring a bomber shouting "Allahu Akbar", was staged at the Trafford Centre to test the response of emergency services.
Eight hundred volunteers took part in the overnight drill to make it as realistic as possible.

Greater Manchester Police said the event was not linked to any specific terror threat.
Manchester peace activist Dr Erinma Bell criticised the use of a "Muslim terrorist".

She said "a terrorist can be anyone" and "we need to move away from stereotypes".

No, it's a huge difference, rEv. Once you've heard "Allahu Akbar" you start looking for brown-skinned people to shoot, but if you hear "die youse cunts!", you start shooting chavs (or bogans in Oz...)

Sure, ethically equivalent, except in fact that it is vastly rarer at present than "Allahu Akbar" before shooting, knifing or blowing up infidels (or other muslims who are heretics...)
