On Sunday 17th of January feminists in Brisbane are having a "free the nipple" picnic at a park in west end to protest against women not being allowed to go topless. They are banning men from attending the event, stating that only women, non-binary, or transgenders are permitted.

Of course, because if you're not a woman, you shouldn't be able to go to a public park when a group of feminists are there. If they say you're not welcome in a public space, by cracky, you need to check your privilege and keep out of there.

Gentlemen of Brisbane, it's time to grab your cameras and head down to west end. When they try and stop you from entering, simply tell them you identify as female and you're here to help fight the patriarchy by taking photos of the event so you can help spread the word.

Women have every right to do everything a man does, and more. Women are not "suffering" because there are laws about covering of nipples. Women's tits are different than men's tits, and culturally in the West the exposure of women's tits have always been a bigger deal FOR MEN AND FOR WOMEN than the exposure of men's tits. It doesn't have to be that way, but all it fucking is is a dress code disparity. It's not oppression, and it's not suffering.

Stop it with that. "Liberalism" is not the problem. Progressivism is the problem. Liberalism is a term coopted by authoritarian Progressives who want to issue dictates and advocate for greater government authority and control while calling themselves liberal. They aren't liberal. Conservatives, too, are the problem, because they too tend toward authoritarianism, just a different set of orders.

A truly "liberal" approach involves tolerance and anti-authoritarian policies which promote individual freedom and liberty. Progressives are authoritarian left.

The point they are making with these things is not really the issue of tits. This is like that event at a US college where they were trying to kick out a reporter from a public area because some group of screaming harpies had declared the "space" to be their own personal space and they attempted to forcibly remove a member of the press from covering the event.

These are the same kind of people that disrupt conferences they don't like and call for guilty until proven innocent policies on college campuses. There isn't a controversy here. This is a group of authoritarian bigots pretending to protest about the "oppression" women face in Oz and other western countries because tits are treated differently than pecs.

The solution, as I said, is to just give the crybullies what they want, and make it legal for women to rock out with their tits out. The only issue is these kind of extremists generally aren't satisfied.
