On RatsSkep at the moment left of Lenin is about the perfect political point of view. Supporting Corbyn is compulsory.

And what evidence is there that the mods endorse that viewpoint and punish those who don't share it?
Rationalia relies on voluntary donations. There is no obligation of course, but if you value this place and want to see it continue please consider making a small donation towards the forum's running costs.
Details on how to do that can be found here.

I never supported the invasion of Iraq in fact I was out on the streets opposing it.
And of course wage slavery is the exact opposite of what lefties call it. It is a manifestation of "freedom of choice". If you don't like the conditions under which you are employed you are always free to find better ones. All up to you. Entirely. Really.

Try again.
I support the welfare state that the UK has, nobody should starve or be homeless if they can't find the right employment. That doesn't mean it can't be scrutinized for corruption and nepotism.

There should be no correct political viewpoint, you should bring your politics to the market place of ideas and fight it out there. Obviously political forums are going to be bias but forums with rational in the title should be open to all viewpoints.

There seems to be a pattern that anyone who is not a lefty starts getting called a troll, even if their viewpoint has not change in all their posting history. Once they call you a troll then you will soon be banned for 'cough' trolling. How many people on ratz have been banned for trolling whilst never trolling here on ratz?

It is next to impossible to get banned from here which is why quite a few members are former Rat Skep
I only know of one member who has been banned but that was self imposed as he actually wanted to be
Compare it to the number who have been banned at Rat Skep and the contrast could not be any greater
So it helps that the atmosphere here is much more laid back and no where near as serious as over there

Orly? I hadn't noticed you stopped using insults because you haven't stopped using insults. From a couple of weeks ago:

You boarded this train of the oppression olympics and there can be only one winner (loser) someone worst off than anyone else on the planet.

OK, serious question for you ratz scumbags, Did you really think you where supporting equal rights for women when you claimed to be feminists? I'm not being judgemental or anything (I am) but how butt fucking stupid and gullible do you need to be to be a feminist? trust me the answer is very and you all failed the test. Still keep living in the delusion that you are somehow superior to people who believe god/s exist because you are not.

To Dave, they aren't insults, they are merely drunken camaraderie...

Unless he was so drunk that he can't remember being drunk at the time, it wasn't.

Besides, I am pretty sure that I could find more of his post suspension insults if I could be bothered.

Not only so serious.
The take over by hackenslash et al. is just elitism of the worst order. The technique of insults by the back door is rife since he has returned olong with the Corbynites the world view of the forum has been reduced to a keyhole.

Depends on how you define "the right employment."

For me, the "right employment" is getting paid a seven-figure income for arguing with idiots on the Internet. If I can't do that, then I expect YOU (and everybody else in the UK) to support me even as I refuse to support anyone else by being indolent.

Yeah, like that's going to work out well... :fp:

Starvation and homelessness are great motivators to industrious activity and some people seriously need to be so motivated.
