That novel was about how a bunch of suppressed farm animals revolted against the oppressive boss and succeeded with a left wing revolution promising greater freedoms and liberties, but finished up with an even worse regime. Au contraire Animal Farm was about the failure of revolutions to bring about the desired change. My analogy using 1984 was spot on, manipulating language to bring about thought control is exactly what is going on in the West right now.
