Lol, quote mining, troll, they will make up any shit to ban people for wrongthink over there. You can't seriously defend ratskep as a place of objective discussion anymore because that would make you look like a gullible moron. The ideological deconstructionism over there has reached critical mass.Scott1328 wrote:You were suspended for quote mining.Scot Dutchy wrote:The brownarm gang is making a take over of the forum. Freedom of speech, freedom of expression, freedom of conscience, freedom and liberty. How awful, we should all be slaves to ideology. How the fuck did I end up fighting for freedom from the left. have any of you fuckers read George Orwell's 1984. It is a warning not a political manifesto. How many people died or were tortured fighting for the freedoms we enjoy now. Yet you all seem to be willing to give them up so effortlessly in the name of political correctness, identity politics, feminism and SJW.Scott1328 wrote:Dave And Scot would make the best buddies.
Me and Scot are the same? How, we have views you don't like? You are just going to have to accept that reality doesn't have a liberal bias (a cursory glance at any evolutionary book and especially human evolution) will avail you off that nonsense. If ratskep is so right then why the need to ban people with a different perspectives? Even here at ratz I see people floundering like fish out of water using insults, shaming tactics, equivocation, moving the goalposts and posioning of the well bullshit. Though without the power to ban different opinions I can call them out on it. Afterall if it is wrong for the religious to do it then it is wrong for ideologues to use such logical fallicies. Carry on with your snarky comments as your cupboard is laid bare and you have nothing, the left is intellectually bankrupt.

Orwell's novel, 1984, begins when freedoms were already well and truly lost. Maybe a reference to Animal Farm would have been in order instead. That novel was about how a bunch of suppressed farm animals revolted against the oppressive boss and succeeded with a left wing revolution promising greater freedoms and liberties, but finished up with an even worse regime. I'm looking forward to the day when you put your brain into gear before you set your typing fingers into motion.DaveDodo007 wrote:How the fuck did I end up fighting for freedom from the left. have any of you fuckers read George Orwell's 1984.

Au contraire Animal Farm was about the failure of revolutions to bring about the desired change. My analogy using 1984 was spot on, manipulating language to bring about thought control is exactly what is going on in the West right now.Hermit wrote:Orwell's novel, 1984, begins when freedoms were already well and truly lost. Re: Rationalskepticism, lol part III.
As in "regime change" to "liberate" the oppressed people of Iraq with the aid of the "coalition of the willing"? Ayup, doublethink works a treat.
And of course wage slavery is the exact opposite of what lefties call it. It is a manifestation of "freedom of choice". If you don't like the conditions under which you are employed you are always free to find better ones. All up to you. Entirely. Really.
Try again.

What's the correct political viewpoint for a forum I wonder, and how can you ensure that everybody shares it?
Rationalia relies on voluntary donations. There is no obligation of course, but if you value this place and want to see it continue please consider making a small donation towards the forum's running costs.
