Absolutely.

Not really. You see, there is "atheism" and then there is "Atheism." There is a dictionary definition of "atheism" but "Atheism," while it clearly exists as a religion as I have demonstrated, has not yet hit the Lexicon, but it will.

Until then, one can derive "Atheism" the religion from the definitions of "religion" and "belief" and be perfectly correct in doing so. That's why definitions exist, you see. They exist to describe things based on their characteristics and one can reason from several definitions what the proper label is for a particular thing.

You make the mistake of thinking that dictionary definitions are exclusive. They aren't. One may say "this characteristic A, combined with that characteristic B can rationally use the definition "X" to describe the thing." One cannot, however, say "This thing with characteristics A and B does not have it's own specific definition in a dictionary, therefore it does not exist." That's just stupid.

Dictionaries describe things, they don't make or unmake them.
