Even if a plane handles like a barge, it's still going to win, if it has a missile which can take out the opposition, before the opposition can get into cannon range.
If the opposing plane can defeat air-to-air missiles, than that's a different story.
There's not a lot of detail given to be able to judge in this case.
No, it covers air-to-air missiles as well. It would be pointless otherwise. So it's about a lot more than just the plane. But as to how they judge these things ... I don't really know. And I read

It being India, if you want to know how and why things happen, look at the betting odds, and how much has been bet, and by whom.
