All other taxes are the same or comparable to the rest of Europe. The main problem with Greece isn't actually the level, but the tax take. I.e. avoidance and corruption is the problem. And that's the exact thing that the Troika and Syriza are committed to fixing (amongst other things). And Greek tax take has increased due to these efforts. They are also in negotiation with Switzerland to tax the tax avoiders hiding income there.

They are about cutting spending as well (in an horrendously cruel way). They rightly reject that cruelty and have voted for dignity and sovereignty.
