The only thing I didn't really like with Big Hero 6 was that I didnt buy that Hiro was that ignorant of what his brother who lives under the same roof in the next room does for a living.

In other news, Ocean's 4 has just been released on DVD, along with District 2 and 3 1/2 weeks.

As for Dracula 2000, I think I've watched most of the previous 1999.

Retreat, starring Cillian Murphy, Jamie Bell and some very beautiful actress I've never heard of named Thandie Newton. Despite a gorgeous setting, an interesting premise and a good cast, the film fails to rise above anything beyond mediocre.

Lebanon, about an Israeli tank crew in Lebanon. Good from what very little I saw. My Playstation didn't like the DVD Saw so little of it that I can't include it in the movie challenge, but saw enough of it to recommend it.

I watched Dawn of the Planet of the Apes last night. It was worth if for one scene alone: A screaming rabid maniacal chimp on a horse, galloping at full speed, with a blazing machine gun in each hand! Other than that, it was all pretty silly...
Actually, I fucked up a bit. I haven't kept up with the goings on of the Apes franchise, so I am a bit in the dark. I assumed this was a prequel to some other Ape movie I'd probably seen. Turns out it was a follow up to Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Which I haven't seen.

Just watched Birdman. Probably one of the most original movies I've seen in a while. Keaton is amazing as a washed-up actor suffering an existential crisis. The whole film satirises modern, blockbuster Hollywood. I love the cinematography, they've made it look as if it was done in one continuous shot.

I loved the cinematography too, and I found it all pretty funny. It was great to watch. I'm not sure yet what to make of the ending though.
