Wow. Different tastes. Of the dozen films you list I've watched six. When I say "watched", I meant it in the loose sense. I did not bother watching three of them to the end. The other three were enjoyable enough, but none of them would go on my all time favourites list if I had one.

Off the top of my head:

The Adventures of Baron Munchausen
Time Bandits
12 Monkeys
Shaun of the Dead
Clerks
Dogma
Akira
Hellboy 1 & 2
Pan's Labyrinth
Kung Fu Hustle
Snatch
Daywatch
Nightwatch
Parents
The Navigator
Watchmen
Fantastic Mr. Fox
Fargo
Bad News Bears
The outlaw Josey Wales
Unforgiven
The Man Who Fell to Earth
Blade Runner

Sure I forgot some but I guess that's enough.
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

Don't think I've ever watched Fargo.

93% audience rating on Rotten Tomatos...I think I'll have to watch it. :eddy:

So, which ones are which :ask:
Taxi Driver - A film with bite, good direction, talented cast
Amelie - Quirky, empathic and charming
La vie en rose - Well, its about the little sparrow, isn't it? Cotillard makes it work and Depardieu isn't too bad either.
Sean of the Dead - Nothing particularly wrong with it. I just never connected with the humour, or anything else, really.
The Royal Tenenbaums - Soap opera with pretensions. Reminded me of "The Quartet" and "The Essence of Fire"
Cabaret - After all those glowing reviews this turned out to be the biggest cinematic disappointment of my life. Style over substance. The film tried to be everything and came up with porridge and I guess a vehicle for Minelli to strut her stuff, whatever that was. Actually went to the cinema to see it when it first came out. When the bell rang to signal the end of the intermission I said "I suppose we better go in then." My partner replied "I don't want to either." and away we went.

Hermy, Ma Vie En Rose is about a boy who wishes he was a girl.

In that case I have not seen the film.

I thought the first letter was a typo. La vie en rose is a film about Edith Piaf.

I've not seen Sanjuro. I should watch it. I loved Yojimbo.
