Well, if you just give up the conceit that as a "rationalist" you know and understand everything and you're willing to admit that there are things that you do not, cannot, and will never understand and that it's okay not to be intellectually certain about everything, you might have less trouble dealing with your uncertainties.rEvolutionist wrote:It's impossible to become a stupid person once you are already a rationalist. That's why I keep harping on the notion that no "rationalist" can rationally say anything about God(s) except "I don't know."
Once you accept that, life becomes much easier to deal with.
