...even so, it is not the best way to move people along. People become defensive when mocked, they are serious then and angry. The thing is to offer better spectacles, better traditions, better mysteries. Births, marriages and funerals...own these and religion falls over. If the secular world can organise to put a occupied coffin in deep space, say Richard Dawkins after he dies, then a statement would have been made religion would find hard to answer. We are beings of emotion and awe is one emotion that sways opinion, more than mockery.
