The first record of 'natural rights' was for tyrannical kings to err being tyrannical because god gave them the natural right.

Historically the main thing natural rights have been linked to has is mass murder from the early Kings to Hitler and his natural right to lebensraum. The whole concept of the holocaust was built on natural rights (German natural rights)
