Boulder smashes through Italian farm

I saw the boulder article yesterday and there was another huge boulder that ended up stopping right by the back wall of the house; it's seriously large. I'd be looking to move

I would truck in a whole lot more boulders, and stack them behind the farm as protection. Pack the gaps with soils, and plant flowers!

I doubt if there is a truck on Earth that could carry one of those.

Not that there's a crane that could load it anyway. I would dig a lake in front of the house, and make it deep, and use what came out as a bank.

Yeh, I know that they use some pretty big trucks in open-caste mines. That one might fit it in, but I have my doubts if it would take the weight. Solid rock is far denser than loose fill.
But anyway, you'd never get it, nor a crane that could lift one of those boulders, up that road.
I reckon they'll have to blast the one that's sitting on the road into bits.
Or, it being Italy, they could get a sculptor to shape it into baby Jesus, and divert the road.

That truck's payload is only 363 tons, so, no, I don't think it will be able to carry that rock. However, Liebherr's largest mobile crane is capable of lifting 1200 tons at 2.5 metres, definitely more than enough to frogmarch it to another location.
