British morals vs French

Post by mistermack » Wed Jan 15, 2014 10:25 pm

That twat Andrew Neil had a real go at a guest French journalist today, on the daily politics.

He was trying to say that the French press were too polite to the President, too deferential.
She was saying that the French had a different attitude to the sex-lives of famous people, and that anyway, the French President was more like the Queen, as head of state, and that the British press are extremely deferential to the Queen.

But Neil is a gobshite, and wouldn't accept that there was any comparison.

I think actually, she made a very good point. British press is EXTREMELY deferential to the royal family.
The Duke of Edinburgh's exploits have been reduced to the level of rumours, and never taken up by the press. Prince Charles selected Diana as a wife, purely for breeding purposed, like a brood mare, and happily carried on his sex life with his long-term mistress. To me, it was the most disgusting thing these Royals have ever done, but it was greeted in complete silence by the British press.

So for Andrew Neil to accuse the French press of too much deference is the absolute height of hypocrisy, to me.

A president without a couple mistresses is unworthy of the post... it's when he raises his bastards at the taxpayer's expense, like miterrand did his that there is a scandal.

I'd rather talk about British vs French morrels :thinks:
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

The average Frenchman has the morals of a baboon. And the overwhelming majority of 'em ain't even average. There was a Frenchie adventurer in Kabool when I was there, Cambon, I think. Odd chap, had one brass knee and the funny thing was, he was as blind as cave-fish. Now, he used to think it great sport to head into the old covered bazaar, dressed as a woman and he cauight the eye of that old fraud Sekundar Burnes and etc etc. He escaped the massacre and openeed a boarding house in Brighton about which I heard some frightful things.

And sparrows. They suck a sparrow's innards out through it's arse. They do sometimes cook and kill it first. It's why you often see tiny feathers stuck a Frenchman's lip.
