I've begun considering Israel little more than a theme park which is designed around the theme of out-jewing each other. Unfortunately like most theme parks the staff and neighbours of it are treated like shit.

It's not really a question of the US supporting or not supporting. What they say in public, and what they actually do in private, is two different things.
Anything that Israel does, the US has approved. Or even directed.
That's the plan. Israel does the dirty deed, and the US publicly disapproves, but privately probably ordered it.
That way, Israel takes the flak, and the US maintains this fiction of striving for peaceful solutions.
