Yawn. For about the 4 millionth time, it's the rate that is the major problem.
It's not a problem. It's a feature. Adapt or die.
Lol, I love how you keep saying "Adapt or die", like it has intellectual rigor, or something. Or like it's an answer to the actual questions/problems being discussed. In fact, you seemed to have missed the crux of the debate, that being, we DON'T want to die, therefore we need to do something about AGW. Saying adapt or die doesn't nothing to address this issue.
Sure it does. It points out the fact that hysterical overreaction driven by a lust for power and control by the powers that be who are using AGW as a launcher for massive socialist redistribution of wealth and centralization of power in a one-world government has absolutely nothing whatever to do with AGW, which isn't actually a problem at all. If you can't adapt to a half-degree change in global temperature, then you ought to die as a Darwinian dead-end. There is no issue, you see.
Some 15,000 or so years ago North Africa was a verdant, lush grassland habitat filled with life. The climate changed and now North Africa is a desert filled with life...of a different sort and in different quantities...including human beings. And yet life and humanity abides. Get over yourself. You have no right to expect that the climate will not change, and if it happens to affect your lifestyle, tough shit, adapt or die.
You live in Bangladesh and the sea is creeping up towards your toes as the ice melts? Move the fuck out of Bangladesh. Toronto buried under sixty feet of snow year-round? Move the fuck out of Toronto or learn to dig snow tunnels. A-fucking-dapt or die.
This idiotic notion that the climate shouldn't change is an anthropomorphic conceit that's entirely inconsistent with the nature of nature.
Get over it. Adapt or die.
