The US presumably could track the whole process with radar or other satellite based technologies. I doubt they are faking it. Unless the US is in on it too!1! :tinfoil: :tinfoilhat: :foilhat: :tinhat: :conspiracy: :ffs:

They would certainly be listening in on all the radio communications; even if encrypted, it would be clear if they were coming from the surface of the moon or not.

Here's a more complete image -

To me the landscape looks okay, just that the colours are wonky. Either uncalibrated raw images, or someone has done too much color enhancement - perhaps upped the saturation too much.

You can see the same effects on some Apollo images, like the two versions of the same image below from different web sites. Both seem to show too much brown or green compared to the more standard hand-held Apollo images.

Still doesn't look right down in PS truview photoflair (NASA image enhancement plugin) but you can see about six striations running across right to left like someone has gone across the ground with a trowel, and the color cast makes it look like it is being shone on by a direct source like a overhead light.

The European Space Agency is helping out with telemetry, so they are in the conspiracy too....

There are no stars exactly like the NASA images. Yet space is full of stars. :fp:

It's no big deal.

North Korea has also landed a rover on the moon.
It is bigger and better than the Chinese one. It was announced by the great dear yummy leader at a public meeting. Everybody clapped.
While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.

For those who don't know, these are Chinese Mooncakes.

They are not telling us the whole story by any stretch. The conspiracy goes deep. Very deep.
