According to a group of doctors that analysed his drinking habits across the original novels, James Bond was clearly an alcoholic, a problem drinker, and would have had a severe case of brewer's droop! In You Only Live Twice, he was drinking as much as 132 units per week - that's... plenty!

According to a group of doctors ...
They are what I call problem doctors.

Although it may look like a forum, this site is actually a crowd-sourced science project modelling the slow but inexorable heat death of the universe.

It's a well known fact that recent generations simply cannot handle their booze, not like old-timers like James and I...

If you killed people for a living you'd probably spend a lot of time drunk too. Fortunately for the forces of Good he's really, really adept at compensating for intoxication. Never seen a drunk shoot that straight.

It's him driving while pissed out of his skull that worries me! A dozen vodka martinis and then straight into a car chase! He wouldn't keep his licence for a week!

Dude, he has a license to KILL, some traffic cop trying to arrest him is going to get dead. Why do you think he has "007" plates? It's so the cops will ignore him.
Clearly he's a better driver with a 0.100 BAC than everybody else stone sober.
