Listening to Sibelius with John Barbirolli. Old recording. At their loudest the brass is farting out very loud blasts. Compared to modern recordings.

Odd that an album should sell a million in a few weeks or months, then take 20 years to sell another million. Beatles solo works:
Paul's first solo album had sold 1 million copies in the U.S. by May 15th, 1970 (in 26 days). George's "ATMP" album had sold 500,000 copies in the U.S. by December 17th, 1970 (in 21 days).
Paul's "McCartney" album was certified at 2 million copies sold in the U.S. in December of 1991. George's "ATMP" album was certified at 2 million copies sold in the U.S. in March of 2001.
