Anyone? A random person? No. Only if the stranger was very good looking. Then my altruism would kick in.
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

nope
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

What a strange idea. Why would I? Why would anyone :ask:

My genes would tell me not do, and like the good, lumbering Dawkinsian robot I am, I would obey them...

And my gin!

Indeed, What are the chances that any random stranger would be worth saving, from a selfish genetic perspective? Pretty low.

Also, from a general life-experience point of view, the odds are that any random stranger is a twat.

I would only die for a random stranger if I knew the stranger very well and was quite fond of them.

Ugh. You nailed one of my 'ick' triggers. Hanging and strangulation aren't as bad as slitting throats, but still pretty gruesome.

I would rather not have to die at all to be honest. Death is so dull.

There's a technical fix for that. Not around here though. :coffee:

Apple is working on it.

Before I shuffle off this mortal coil, I expect to be able to download myself to Apple Cloud 9.0, there to converse for eternity with Steve Jobs and other saints...

The Windows version, of course, is Hell 1.1...

Once you've been fine grained scanned for upload you can shuffle off your mortal coil in the soylent green factory next door. :coffee:
