I'm heading to the nearest school soon to vote. I don't know if there is a polling booth there, but there should be. If there's not, I'll have to wonder around till I find one.

It was a wonderful experience. I found a (largely empty) polling booth at the local school. I was all worked up to abuse the Liberal staffer/volunteer there, but when I got there Lab, Lib and Green were all sitting there having a nice quiet chat. Didn't think my attack on the Lib would go down too well. So I canned it. Probably just as well, as a couple of cops came into vote about 2 minutes after me.

So, the Liberals are the Conservatives? Is everything upside down in that silly country?

Yeah, the Liberals are what "Liberal" means around most of the world - economic liberals.

And yes, Australia First Party would definitely get your vote. The bizarre thing about that is that the party is lead by a Sri Lankan immigrant. Fucking stupid people.

I don't really go for national socialism or the 3rd position though. But in the spirit of unity, I think racism is more important than politics.

At least at the moment it isn't looking quite like the landslide it was predicted to be. It's still bad, but no where near as bad as it was thought to be.

People were predicting 90's LNP to 40's ALP. It's expected to end up about high 80's for LNP and high 50's for ALP.

Just watching the never ending concession speech by the PM, and thank fuck he has decided to step down as leader. I'm not sure why he is sticking around. He should fuck off out of the whole parliament.
