I don't how it's much different from a politician saying vote for us and we'll clean your kitchen twice a week, fluff your dogs and give you a tax cut.

Um, only if the person votes that way.

Since it's still presumably a secret ballot it's more by way of an incentive, since the voter is under no obligation or compulsion to actually vote that way.

"A hundred quid to vote for your party? Sure, hand it over! Thanks! Now fuck off while I vote for whomever I please...like the party that lets you give me a hundred quid to try to induce me to vote for them."

Talk about your capitalist Libertarian redistribution system!

Besides, isn't bribery what all politicians do anyway when they make campaign promises that they have neither the intention nor the ability to fulfill?
