Six members of the Royal Regiment of Scotland's rugby team, in New York to play a match against an NYPD team, have beaten up and robbed an off-duty NYPD officer.

The soldiers – Iosefo Yavala, Iliakini Raderua, Thomas Shute, Felite Vunisarati, Mosese Kuruala and Joeli Raduva – were arrested when police arrived at the scene at around 4.40am on Friday (9.40am BST).

It looks like they all gave false names, apart from Thomas Shute. He must be the squad idiot.

NYC needs to stop its "stop and frisk" policy. Just another example of Bloomberg turning NYC into his own personal Nazi Germany.

The fact that all of the NYPD doesn't see "stop and frisk" as a gross violation of citizens' rights, shows that they have no regard to their Oath and are unfit to be peace officers.
