Due to the heinous nature of their crime. They should all be tried as adults. Those 3 should get a minimum of 5 years in prison and another 5 years for the racial and just plain wickedness of their crime.

If those 3 think attempted murder, in broad daylight, ON VIDEO no less, on a bus with several witnesses, is acceptable, just think what they're doing when no one is watching.

Then think about the kind of crimes they are capable of and will probably be committing when they are older.

Lock them up and throw away the key.

I think that's fair enough. There is no chance that they will spend long enough in the clink, so the max allowed should be the minimum.
That's crap about the bus driver though. He's under no obligation to risk his own safety. He would be an idiot to do that, against at least three attackers.
And they really don't understand the shock that some people experience, when near to that kind of incident.

What REALLY pisses me off, is the shit quality of the video still in use. You can buy a much better camera on ebay for about seven pounds. The driver should have a button that switches on very strong lights, which might put a stop to those incidents just on it's own. If it doesn't, at least the video would be better.
While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.

I agree as far as when the criminals were still on the bus, but after they left he failed to attempt to render assistance or to see if the kid was o.k. That, I think, is where the "neglect" comes in.
