If I remember correctly the barrister involved has been suspended from acting in sexual assault cases do to his appalling behavior in this one. Yes? So the law is working perfectly well. I never had any trouble with not being seduced by underage vamp : being 20+ years older than them, they regard me as old and simply avoid turning the charm on me. There's also looking mostly at girls my own age, of course.

It's perfectly obvious that the barrister has been suspended for telling it like it is. Using language that is now considered politically incorrect, even though it accurately described the situation, and an experienced judge agreed.

This thread is ABOUT that subject, and who is right or wrong, so to use the suspension as some kind of proof is a complete fail of logic on your part. Not the first.
I simply pointed to the YEARS OF EXPERIENCE of the judge and the prosecutor.

Or a girl who is sixteen and a day, compared to one who is fifteen and 364 days old?
