Half the number of MP's double their wages and ban outside interests and supply reasonable accommodation for non-London MP's but that property stays public property

To be honest one of the advantages of having so many politicians (one representing 50 000 people is ridiculous) is each has so little power its simply not worth trying to corrupt them. You need to buy an entire party if you are going to be really corrupt (which of course happens but is a lot harder to do secretly)
