I questioned her closely on my doorstep in Swords a few years back about her understanding of matters of tax and the economy. She was quite ignorant.

She was in Rush last week fighting to keep the library opening times from being cut. She's the only politician I ever see actually doing stuff. So she gets a vote off me. Not a number 1, I don't actually want the Socialist Party in power, but she's handy to have around.

Why must it be a comparison? Can't they both be war criminals? Or, once Bush is a war criminal, it's a free for all for everyone else as long as they don't act worse than him?

Bush hasn't been fucking President since 2008 (well, technically a few weeks into January, 2009). It's almost July, 2013. Bush is not President. Obama is the President. He is responsible for his own Administration.

The Obama Administration looks good? If you have your eyes closed and hand down your pants, maybe... sycophant was a great word choice in the video. Bush wasn't as bad as Lyndon Johnson, therefore, we ought not criticize Bush....solid logic.

But, the point is not that Bush makes Obama look good. The point is that even if Bush was a homicidal maniac who hated babies and puppies, that doesn't mean that what the Irish Parliamentarian said about Obama is not also true.

The point is Bush is a continual embarrassment for the Republicans and they wish he'd just go away. Never gonna happen. Own your mistakes and you look less stupid.
