I'm all for porn but nothing wrong with an optional filter, most ISP supply client level software anyway but parents don't know how to use it (and never will)
Through I will make it perfectly clear I don't believe in unlimited free speech and censorship has its role, there is far more nudity and 'porn' on free to air British tv (through not as much as Europe) than there is in the US not to mention the biggest selling national paper here has naked women on page 3

Surely that stuff can be gotten around more conveniently and discreetly than asking your ISP "May I please watch some porn?"
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."
