I wonder if the dress stapling-on thing is just someone having a laugh as opposed to a prudish response. It is pretty funny :hehe:
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

Knowing Dublin, likely.

I've never really been bothered by Rhianna's music except that it has that standard pop production that I find annoying.

But it's pop so it's not horribly deep and meaningful, but it makes as much sense to bitch about that as it does to bitch about the lack of fiber in ice cream.
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

I've honestly never heard any of her songs.

Sure you have. Unless you're completely cut off from the media of course, but you definitely would've heard her songs around.

I'd have never heard her music except I had to work with people who like the cheesy pop radio station.

Well I never listen to radio and only watch T.V. shows I've recorded so I don't hear any music in idents or anything, so it is possible that I haven't. It is also possible that I have but only in passing and as noise. I had never heard any Lady Gaga until my wife pointed out that a song I was laughing at being piped through a mall was her and I never heard Gangam Style until it was featured in an episode of South Park that I watched.

I tend not to listen to modern disposable pop music at all, though occassionally one gets through my Last FM filters.

Google "Shy Ronnie 2" It's the best work she ever did!

Pfff. I got 28 seconds into that before I turned it off. Not my thing at all.

Anyway, she must be someone, because I heard a song on the radio the other day, the hook of which ran:

"She can’t sing, she can’t dance,
But who cares – she walks like Rihanna."

But still, :dunno:

Outrageous! They left her armpit totally exposed. Don't they know that's just an open incitement for innocent kiddies to indulge in bagpiping.

She looked better with clothes on.
At least it hid that shitty tattoo.

I haven't heard her music either. I don't like the radio, because I don't like djs so I never hear any.
The bands I have watched on tv, I haven't heard anything original for about 2 years, so it's hardly worth the effort.
While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.
